This 2012 release was, amazingly, six complete concerts, on 18 CDs (18!!)—one concert from each venue of their spring 1990 tour. 

I love this era of the Dead. They'd evolved into more tight, expansive, jazzier unit. Branford Marsalis would sit in - he's on the 'Without A Net' version of 'Eyes Of The World' and blows up a real storm on a 16-minute version of that brilliant number. Three tracks recorded at the Nassau Coliseum were included on that triple live album and are also on here. 

Bob Weir has said , "For my money, this was our hottest era." I love all eras of the Dead but they connected with something free and yet complex here.
